Cloud-based location intelligence platform Addresscloud has announced it has been selected to provide one of the UK’s largest commercial MGA’s,  Eaton Gate, with address-matching and property enriched data capabilities.

Eaton Gate acts as a ‘virtual insurer’ or MGU to its four MGA businesses; Artsure, Eaton Gate Commercial, Broker Express and Equitable Insurance Services. Each of these MGAs will benefit from Addresscloud’s award-winning address-matching and intelligence APIs to obtain property-level address and perils data that accurately rates against risk of flood, subsidence, trees, fire and crime, driving financial benefits as well as increased levels of efficiency for its underwriters.

Alun Jones, Chief Commercial Officer at Addresscloud commented:

“We’re pleased to have extended our successful partnership with Eaton Gate for a further three years.  The business is one of the leading commercial MGAs in the UK, and their teams have experienced significant benefits from our cloud-based address-matching and intelligence services to give them highly accurate and enriched data insights on their risks.”

Matt Gifford, Head of Underwriting at Eaton Gate added;

"We’re dedicated to creating long-term, sustainable MGAs that can distribute our capacity via strong, relationships with brokers and their clients. To underpin this aim, it is essential that we can access the very best and latest property and perils data at the speed of light.  This enables our customers to maximise the capacity and write more profitable risks.
