Addresscloud is built on the free and open source geospatial community - from the databases that power our geographic queries to the individuals and organisations who share their innovations online and in-person. In recognition I am proud to announce that we've become a sponsor of the Open Source Geospatial Foundation (OSGeo) to support and promote the continuation of the geospatial FOSS ecosystem.
OSGeo exists to foster the adoption and development of open geospatial technology, and we welcome Addresscloud's support of our mission. It is brilliant to see companies like Addresscloud who have built buisnesses and services on the open source geospatial tools that we all use be able to contribute to OSGeo, helping to ensure the ongoing sustainability of our community.

FOSS4G & Addresscloud
OSGeo hosts the annual Free and Open Source Software for Geospatial Conference (FOSS4G). The Addresscloud team have been regular attendees and presenters at the FOSS4G conferences, learning about the latest updates in the software that power our company. In fact, FOSS4G 2015 in Seoul was where I first met Mark - not long after he had founded Addresscloud - so the conference has a special significance in our company's history.
The phrase "standing on the shoulders of giants" has perhaps become a cliche, but I think in this case it is warranted - Addresscloud certainty wouldn't be what it is today without the FOSS4G tools and community we've built our service upon.
We're delighted to become an official sponsor of OSGeo, helping to support the free and open source geospatial software and community that is the foundation of Addresscloud.

Addresscloud (May 2021)
We're planning to continue our contributions to the community through anual sponsorship to OSGeo, and related projects and events. We look forward to meeting more members of our community at the next FOSS4G conference!
