Serverless Zoomstack on AWS

Learn how to serve vector tiles for mapping using the Amazon CloudFront service to provide a global audience with low latency at very low cost

I recently spoke at the FOSS4G UK 2019 conference in Edinburgh about our experience with hosting vector tiles using Amazon CloudFront.  This is a very effective technique for serving content quickly with low latency to a global audience which is commonly used for static data such as images and javascript files but extends well to map tiles.  The slides from my talk are included below, here I give some high level examples of how to download and serve the excellent Open Zoomstack from the Ordnance Survey.  A full tutorial, taken from my 2018 talk at FOSS4G in Dar-es-Salaam is also available at https://github.com/addresscloud/serverless-tiles.
